Last Thursday, we were honored to co-host the Creative Spark event at SoHo House NY with @marketingwithjulie. We were joined by six phenomenal visual and performing artists who each shared their stories of creative struggles and triumphs. Each was just as inspiring as the next - here are few favorite take-aways: @tiffmcfierce TIff talked about “planting seeds» of creativity in order to cultivate what you desire, being careful to water those seeds with love & compassion @amyshoremountobra Amy reflected on the unabashed creativity of childhood and the importance of reconnecting with our inner child — being curious and using our imagination @momanni Meghan compared her creative journey to that of climbing a mountain — learning to remove obstacles and gather the right tools along the way to the summit @tinycactus KangHee shared how she was able to turn frustration over not being able to return to her home country into beautiful art @serenabocchino Serena reminded us of the importance of finding excitement, persistence, and consistency as an artist — and never being afraid to try something new @mlnku Minku talked about the importance of creative collaboration and how partnering with other artists across disciplines has expanded his practice A big shoutout to my co-host Julie for making this all possible! 🙌 It was a truly magical and inspiring evening!
