What can I say about this lady? We followed each other online for a long time before realizing we lived in the same neighborhood & finally made plans to meet up way back in 2010. Her show @foodcurated showcases incredible behind the scenes looks at who’s making our food & where it comes from. I watched from the edge of my seat as she filmed at a slaughterhouse & saw the unfiltered reality of how steak is processed. It was brave, tough, important work & I’m not surprised at all that she has gone on to receive an Emmy nomination for the 6th season. Tonight, she hosted a conversation with @chefclaricelam about her new book, Breaking Bao. This woman radiates kindness, love & curiosity & I’m honored to call her a friend.
