Kicking off June with a bang, it’s time for our next Creatives in the Area event, and we’ve got another exciting lineup of guest speakers. 🎤 We’re back at @sohohouse for an evening at Little House Balham — the perfect venue for a gathering of inspirational local creatives. Come and hear from our speakers about their careers and their passions, amongst other authentic stories and great conversations. 📅 June 4th 🕡 6:45–8:45 PM Meet our Speakers: @chanelirvine - Documentary photographer with a retrospective lens, Chanel captures the beautiful tension between preservation and change. Her work explores our timeless connection to nostalgic places in a world that’s constantly transforming. Creating moving personal projects and widely exhibited travel photography that makes you pause and remember. @dalia.aldu - Author of Babylon, Albion, Daila has been exploring the relationship between culture and diaspora as a British-born Iraqi writer based in London. Having featured in renowned publications including Dazed, GQ, and The Guardian, her social commentary is integral to notions of belonging and home. @iambukki - Bukki Ojo has built fashion empire @seventhstores from a Camden Market stall. From landing in Topshop at 17 to creating London’s most coveted minimalist label, she’s redefining elevated everyday dressing with authentic style and premium craftsmanship. @laura__schofield - With 2 decades of experience in PR, Laura has lead global campaigns through supporting brands and personalities. Her experience sustaining professional brands has lead to impactful PR, facilitated by her calming nature which allows her to help good people do great things.
