Photosymphony Dinner Series – London A collaboration between sisters artist Millie Brown and natural perfumer Beckielou Brown of @altraprofuture, a multisensory exploration of nature’s intelligence, merging sound, scent, and plant life in a living symphony that bridges the human and natural worlds through an immersive installation. Photosymphony: A Live Plant Orchestra has taken many shapes and forms. My aim with the project has been to spark reconnection with nature by allowing the plants to create their own dialogue with us. I wanted to bring plant life into a new context, to view nature in a different way. By attaching MIDI technology to living plants, I programmed a generative composition that the plants themselves trigger and control. As part of the multisensory composition, @beckieloub created a scentscape from natural materials, an olfactory response to the plants’ evolving sound.
