2018 was the first time I’d ever heard and immediately purchased this record. I knew of @jeremyellislive from his 2005 release Lotus Bloom that the late Ken Beatty kept in rotation on, “Hot Ice In The Afternoon” on WCLK, but I quickly learned about the homie @stefanringerfwm and @kaialce and became wrapped my mind in their productions! Fast forward to last night @sohohouse #westhollywood I was in my element sharing an all vinyl set of how I get down! It’s fly to not only share true funk and boogie to elevated environments, but to get house sets off also! I love the person I’m growing into musically! I didn’t leave those that love and support to come blend in here! It wasn’t that there!
