One photo: two more countries! Anastasia (left) is from Macedonia but is half-Malaysian while Dora (right) is from Turkey, but both speak in American accents and are examples of coruscating intelligence and strong, take-no-BS, womanhood. Students at an International School, they’re extremely perceptive about their generation, the world around us and the political divisions that are so rife. So impressive that I’m prepared to forgive them for thinking I’m old. 😂 They both suggested songs but I can only include one per song. On this occasion the Turkish won out, as I knew Sezen Aksu from my time there. But just for fairness, the other song deserves a mention: igra rok en rol cela jugoslavija by the wonderfully named “elektricni orgazam”. *** International encounter, bright young things, not ageist at all 😂 @azurrasinferno @doraduru_
