Soho House New York

The Debut Live is back and we’re paying homage to hip-hop for its 50th anniversary 🏆 For our return, we chatted with my good brother @joeybadass about this classic debut mixtape ‘1999’ and the untold stories about its culmination. From meeting Jay-Z, to getting his first rap check, Joey’s storytelling and comedic flair made our return an entertaining night. Special thanks to the @debutlive team, @femalexec @imgagency team @joeybadass @sohohouse @scramjones @jasonchandler_ @frosephinebaker @_justfritz and of course my partner in crime @officialdriab for wheeling us to victory. This year’s series will be our homage to the 50 years of hip-hop. So expect nothing short of heavy hitters and greatness these next few months 😎 📸: @ofthesaint_ #thedebutlive #hiphop #rap #hiphop50 #sohohouse #proera #nyc
