When you serendipitously book Mark Hamill AKA Luke Skywalker himself to do a talk at Soho House on your actual birthday weekend, well, a career life-long rule of ‘never asking the talent for a photo’ had to go out the window. My inner five year old Star Wars fan would never have forgiven me! Still slightly pinching myself. Mildly embarrassed that I mentioned I still have my Star Wars toys in their original boxes in the attic, but at least I resisted the urge to actually bring them for him to sign! 😂 Forget any bollocks about never meeting your heroes, Mark was an absolute dream and just the loveliest man. #iamyourfather
