Today marks the last day of Hispanic Heritage Month but on Monday, I hosted another Beauty Bar with Onyekachi Amadi event at Soho House Holloway celebrating Hispanic Heritage, Representation and Innovation in Beauty✨ The energy was unmatched, filled with real conversations, laughter, and so much wisdom from women who have shaped the beauty industry from the inside out. Rea Ann Silva @reaannsilva @beautyblender , Margarita Arriagada @margaritaarriagada @valdebeauty @latinasinbeautyofficial and Natasha Maldonado @makememaldonado reminded us what it means to lead with purpose. Something Margarita said really stayed with me: building authentic community isn’t about strategy, it’s about presence. Margarita, who has launched countless brands we think of and use today, still mentors and leans deeply into community…something I found truly inspirational. In a digital world, third spaces feel more important than ever. I hope Beauty Bar continues to serve as that kind of space, an extension of what Soho House already does so beautifully, creating room for genuine connection. It was also inspiring to see so many beauty founders from Latinas in Beauty show up to support one another. In such a competitive landscape, having your tribe beside you makes all the difference. And did you know Beautyblender is bootstrapped? That honestly shook me to my boots. It’s proof that it’s still possible to build a powerhouse brand carried by one of the biggest retailers in the world without taking VC money. Rea Ann is truly a boss. 💥👌🏾 Thank you to Natasha for helping me curate this panel so effortlessly 💕 Grateful to Hannah and the Soho House LA team for continuing to give me the space to host these intimate gatherings for our beauty community. Until the next one 🤎 #BeautyBarWithOnyekachiAmadi #SohoHouseHolloway #ThirdSpaces #BeautyCommunity #WomenInBeauty #LatinasInBeauty #BeautyCulture #Beautyblender #FounderJourney #hispanicheritagemonth
