The power of community 🤍 and the synchronicity of it all… from a post about coming to NYC to a gathering of like-minded power women 💥 It’s absolutely fascinating - the energy you feel when women come together with open minds and open hearts. In Beyond’s ethos of building bridges and bringing together diverse women who rewrite outdated narratives and challenge the current status quo, it was a pleasure to bring together these remarkable women last Sunday in the heart of NYC, at Soho house in Manhattan. 🍏🌟 The diversity was striking: Saudi-Norwegian, Indigenous Philippina, Korean-American, Iranian, Chinese-American, Kazakh, Pakistani-Luxembourgish. 🇸🇦🇳🇴🇰🇿🇵🇭🇮🇷🇨🇳🇱🇺🇩🇪🇰🇷🇺🇸 The diversity of the sectors we are from was striking: Columbia university professor, former CNN journalist, serial entrepreneur, fashion designer, MIT design thinking coach, Cartier fellows, community visionaries and builders, innovators, ecosystems builders. However was was most striking (or maybe not at all for that matter) are our common desires and goals to make an impact and this world a better place. We spoke about climate, the importance of story telling of it and investing in climate solutions, advocacy, and the visions of a birth of a new society. Thank you for the energizing, inspiring, and empowering afternoon spent together, ladies. So much love and admiration for you all @theamyhrvold @melissarowley @angelajacob @hello.mimiwu @drmehreenafzal @maru_newyorkcity @curatedbykamila 📸 by @drmehreenafzal 🙏🏼 @beyondglobal.one #beyondglobal #gobeyond #women #power #community #change #diversity #nyc #global #newsociety @sohohouse #partnership
