Meet the artist: Jade Cassidy Jade Cassidy is a South African artist based in Berlin. Cassidy’s work is centered around resilience communicated in a vulnerable and intimate way. Her works do not depict people directly, but merely their metaphor in recognizable shapes we find in the natural world. By removing explicit markers of race, gender, and appearance, she aims to distill a shared human essence—what makes us the same, rather than what separates us.
