Still buzzing from this energetic conversation ⚡️ Last week, I had the honor of participating in a panel hosted by @betterconversations.nyc about improving reproductive health outcomes for black and brown birthing folks. From a reproductive justice lens we discussed barriers to quality health care, the importance of accessibility and how we can advocate for ourselves and our community at large. With recent statistics highlighting a 40% increase of maternal deaths in the US, these conversations feel more urgent and as we amplify these issues, I hope we continue to be empowered by the possibility of a healthier and safer future for all birthing folks. special thanks to @betterconversations.nyc + @sohohouse for the platform.
