Last night we hosted a very special community screening of the cultural sensation that is KPop Demon Hunters ✨ 🎤. MilkTea are so proud to champion Kpop Demon Hunters - a film which speaks to the heart of what MilkTea do - celebrating ESEA stories and their storytellers, with narratives that reflect our lived experience. Witnessing the film capture so many hearts and minds has been the highlight of 2025. As part of the occasion, we celebrated with custom “DERPY” cookies by Ruth An Tien Whittle. We had the privilege of having Becky Smith introduce our screening, and the filmmakers, Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans joined us for a Q&A, chaired by Sofia Jin - discussed everything from shame to songs.
