Soho House New York

This week, @kengibbsjr and I were honored to sit with the gifted artist @bisabutler for this edition of #TheArtofStorytelling (@art.story.tell). The intimate audience was able to get not only the stories behind some of Bisa’s most iconic works, but the story behind Bisa’s gift itself and an understanding for the passion, history, love, and ancestral guidance that each and every thread encompasses that flows from her fingers…the unspoken language on full display that is the true embodiment of art. You just had to be in the room for what was truly an embodiment of what it is to breathe life into art…into storytelling. Be sure to follow @art.story.tell to stay abreast of what’s next. 👀 📸: @jomoxphoto
