Last night we kicked off the 4th season of the Soho House Lit Salon @ Soho Malibu with Moon Unit Zappa’s heart wrenching memoir, Earth to Moon. I’ve hosted 30 authors in my series and never have I seen so many tears in the audience. For so long, Moon’s talent and creativity has been dismissed, ignored or sublimated by those around her including by her famous father, Frank. Despite that, Moon has persevered and brought a book into the world which reminds us that no matter how dark the situation is, there is always hope.
