All good ideas have to start somewhere. For me the PROFOUND THING about the creative process is that IDEAS come from LIVING. I know I work differently than most. Because I carry with me a SKETCHBOOK. As pen hits the paper, I am found in conversation with those around me. This illustrative practice has even become something sacred for me. Being present, embracing the moment, and the connection it brings with others. I know some may say ‘doodles,’ but I see these pages filled with OPPORTUNITIES. So what are you waiting for? Stop scrolling and start sketching. (I know it is kind of ironic I am suggesting something as you literally have a device in your hand. But the point is important. Let’s be people who are filled with curiously, that we can try new things and set our phones down.) #illustration #graphicdesign #drawing #artistsoninstagram #makeart #stopscrolling #connection #sketchbook
