From its ornate ceiling to original mosaic floors, the reception at @thenednomad reflects over a century of history. The 1903 Johnston Building’s Beaux-Arts character is preserved while layered with timeless details—an embossed leather desk referencing Manhattan’s street grid, rich oak paneling with burl insets, and polished plaster walls. Vintage furnishings, William Morris–inspired drapery, and leaf-shaped chandeliers bring artistry and intimacy, shaping an arrival experience that feels both refined and enduring.
