Little Beach House Malibu

I’m honored to host an evening of conversation with not one but two acclaimed authors for my Soho House Lit Salon @ Soho Malibu series. My dear friend Saladin Ambar shares his page-turning book, Murder on the Mississippi, uncovering the racial violence of 1830s America and how it shaped a young Abe Lincoln‘s political awakening. Area local Nicholas Buccola brings us One Man’s Freedom, a riveting exploration of the clash between Martin Luther King Jr. and Barry Goldwater over race and the future of the nation, providing a deeper understanding of the forces that continue to shape America today.
