Iconic Texas BBQ lands in London for one month only. Interstellar BBQ @interstellarbbq have flown all the way over from Austin Texas to team up with East London’s own From the Ashes @fromtheashesbbq to deliver a barbecue experience like no other at the Electric Diner in the Ned @thenedlondon For £70pp you get: - Jack’s Crook Short Rib - Pulled Lamb Shoulder - Peach Tea Glazed Pork Belly - Glazed Duck Leg - Smoked Chilli Cheese Pork Sausage - Texas Toast - Slaw - Interstellar Beans - Beef Fat Potatoes For an extra £40 you can add Australian Wagyu Brisket if you want (trust me, you do). The portions are massive and the flavours are even bigger, we couldn’t quite finish the sides no matter how much we wanted to. The short rib and brisket were my faves but we enjoyed it all. For dessert they’ve got a banana pudding for the ages on the menu, get one to share, even if you feel like you may explode. We tried the Malt Shake and the Diner J&C from the special Jack Daniels @jackdaniels_uk cocktail menu which were both fun additions. It’s not cheap but Michelin starred barbecue is a one time experience that you don’t see every day in London and the quality is undeniable. Would you pay £180 for a Texan BBQ tray? Are you going?
