@liquides_imaginaires just launched in Hong Kong, together with their latest line “The Imaginarium”, which comprises of mostly citrus perfumes. Unlike their bolder works from the past, the new collection offers crowd-pleasing freshies. Here’s my quick impression of the perfumes: Cedrat Tonic Opens with juniper berry, blood orange, and lemon. Hint of spice and sweetness, possibly from the vanilla. Fairly sparking from the aldehyde. Bergamot Brother Fresh clean bergamot with a sparingly tonic and a vetiver note. The white floral note (jasmine?) here reminds me of spa. Buddha Blend A rather sweet wood with cinnamon, chocolate, and vanilla. Reminds me of TF Velvet Orchid. Seductive Cedrat Clean vetiver + a light powdery gourmand from a creamy rice pudding + coconut milk note Lime Sister The brightest citrus of the line. Sweet orange like a fruit punch. Also has a very sunny floral. Pistachio Cousin More green than sweet. Also feels like rice. Light amber and vetiver. Upcycled Mandarin Fresh sweet orange. Sour, mossy, wet, with a touch of cardamon. Has an oriental base. Roasted Tangerine The most crowd pleasing. Very sparingly opening white floral with a frankincense base. Saffron Mandarin Very sweet opening. Herbal and airy. Good use of petitgrain. Kind of smells like lush/bubble bath. More peppery than saffron. Hint of fermentation with an oriental base. #perfume #fragrance #nicheperfume
